Air conditioning
Cool in summer, warm in winter, from one wall-mounted system
Installation, servicing and repairs for homes and small business premises. Written quote before any work starts.

What you get
Comfortable all year round
A modern air conditioning unit is a heat pump. It cools the room in summer and heats it in winter, from the same unit and the same pipework.
- Cooling in summer, set to the temperature you want and held there.
- Heating in winter that costs a fraction of an electric heater to run, because it moves heat rather than making it.
- Quiet running indoors and out.
- Filtered air, with the filters cleaned at every service.
- Wifi control available, so you can switch it on from your phone before you get home.
- Room to grow. One room now, more rooms later from the same outdoor unit.
Rooms
Where it makes the biggest difference
Anywhere the central heating never quite reaches, or that cooks in July.
- Bedrooms, so you sleep through a heatwave.
- Living rooms and open-plan kitchens.
- Loft conversions and rooms under the roof.
- Garden rooms, home offices and conservatories.
- Small shops, offices and treatment rooms.
Installation
What an install includes
We survey first, quote in writing, then fit. A single wall-mounted system is usually installed in one to two days.
- A survey visit to see where the units can go and where the pipe run goes.
- A written quote before anything is ordered.
- Indoor unit fitted, outdoor unit on a bracket or on the ground.
- Pipework, cable and drain between them, boxed in where they are on show.
- The hole through the wall, made good.
- Commissioned, tested and left running.
- A walk-through of the controls, including the heating side.
- A written record of what was fitted and how it was running when we left.
Not included unless quoted: scaffolding, and a new circuit at the consumer unit if the house needs one. If either applies you'll hear it at the survey, not on the invoice.
Sizing
Bigger is not better
An oversized unit reaches temperature, shuts off, and never runs long enough to take the moisture out of the air. The room ends up cold and clammy instead of comfortable. An undersized one runs flat out and never gets there.
The right size comes from the room: its size, which way the glass faces, and what else in there makes heat. That is what the survey is for, and it is why we quote after a visit rather than over the phone.

Helpful to have: what the system is doing, any fault code, the make and model, and roughly how old it is. None of it is essential.
